We're starting to Love Wendy Valdez' in Betty La Fea

First of all, we're not much of a Wendy Valdez' fan but we'veseen her in Pinoy Big Brother cry and flirt on reality TV. We've also witnessed how she was booed during the presentation of PBB Big 4 in Araneta. We've even thought that she wouldn't have a showbiz career after that incident.

But seeing her in Betty La Fea as the secretary of Armando, it's hard to admit, but we're beginning to love her 'bobita' and 'maldita' attitude. We think this is a big break for Wendy Valdez bagging the role of Patricia coz her character is surely noticeable in this telenovela.

Keep it up Wendy. You're starting to be one of our pinay celebrity to watch for.

Janina San Miguel Backs Out from Ms. World Beauty Pageant

In the recent news of GMA, Janina San Miguel, Bb. Pilipinas World 2008 representative had quit as the official representative to this years Beauty Pageant.

According to the official press release of Binibining Pilinas Charities, Inc., San Miguel cited as reason for her decision was the recent death of his grandfather.

As with BCPI’s rules and regulations, 1st Runner-Up Danielle Castaño will have to replace San Miguel as the official Philippine representative for the Ms. World 2008 in Johannesburg.

Angel Locsin's Swollen Face and Eyes due to Accident

We just got news that Angel Locsin had an accident while shooting in Bukidnon with Piolo Pascual. According to the report, Angel's face was whipped and hit her eyes. As a result, her whole face was swollen.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was given proper treatment. The swelling of her face is now gone and her eyes seemed normal after medication.

More Private Photos of Castaway Veronica Domingo - Survivor Philippines

Watching last night's Survivor Philippines made us feel the tense and the hardships of 17 remaining castaways. The immunity challenge was one tedious, strength sucker and nerve wrecking activity. They had to digg this Thai Pillow below the sand and battle their way back to their tribe matt.

We felt bad especially for the girls where they had to literally rub their bodies not only with sand but with men. And the worst part? Vern Domingo's nose was punched that red blood was seen flowing out of it. Just imagine this taekwondo champion having a nose bleed? But that didn't stop her from the challenge. At the end, her tribe Jarakay once ruled the immunity challenge. Go Vern. Go go go.
